Nanomagnetism is the study of magnetic properties and behavior of materials and systems at the nanoscale—that is, at sizes of roughly 1 to 100 nanometers. At this tiny scale, magnetism behaves very differently from what we observe in everyday magnets, following quantum mechanical rules rather than classical physics.
