During your visit to our website, various cookies may be used. These are text files that are placed on your device and help ensure the smooth functioning of your visit to our website.
Some cookies are necessary to ensure the functionality or IT security of our website. The use of such functional cookies is based on our legitimate interest in enabling the use of our website and its features in accordance with Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. In these cases, processing is also carried out in accordance with § 25 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 TDDDG.

• Enabling the use of special features,
• (Pseudonymized) analysis of user behavior to optimize our website,
• Increasing the attractiveness and user-friendliness of our website,
• Improving and tailoring our services to meet user needs.
The use of non-essential cookies takes place within the framework of so-called user profiles. You are assigned a pseudonym under which your usage data is stored. Your IP address is stored only in truncated form, so that personal identification of the user profile is generally no longer possible.

Web Analytics and Marketing
We use the following services for the purposes of web analytics and retargeting.
As part of web analytics, cookies may be used on various pages. These are text files that are placed on your device and, among other things, help ensure the smooth operation of your visit to our website.
The use of cookies takes place within the framework of so-called user profiles. You are assigned a pseudonym under which your usage data is stored.
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies.
We rely on your consent to collect data when using cookies. If you do not consent to the use of data when visiting our website for the first time, we will not collect your usage behavior or other personal data that may arise during your visit, and therefore will not use it for analytics or subsequent remarketing purposes. This also applies to third-party cookies, such as the Google Analytics plugin.
If you consent to the processing of your data as part of the opt-in procedure (by confirming the cookie banner), the legal basis for the processing of your data is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 lit. a) DSGVO. We will then process your data to the extent of your consent for marketing purposes and to evaluate your usage behavior.
The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to and stored on a server operated by Google LLC in the United States. If applicable, information about your use of this website and your IP address may be transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. Such data transfers are permitted based on your consent pursuant to Art. 49 Abs. 1 S. 1 lit. a) DSGVO.
If IP anonymization is activated on this website, Google will truncate your IP address within Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmission. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.
On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data held by Google, unless you have configured your Google account settings (Web & App Activity) to allow such data combination.
For more information on terms of use and data protection, please visit:
https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/terms/de/
or https://policies.google.com/?hl=de&gl=de.
Google Analytics has been extended on our website with the code “anonymizeIp” to ensure anonymized collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).

Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager on our website. This service allows us to manage the tags implemented on our website (such as those from Google Analytics) via a single interface. No cookies are used, and no personal data is collected by Google Tag Manager itself.
Google Tag Manager merely triggers other tags, which may in turn collect data. However, Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If deactivation has been carried out at the domain or cookie level, it remains effective for all tracking tags implemented via Google Tag Manager.

Google Ads (incl. Remarketing)
We use services provided by Google Ads, an advertising platform by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”), on our website. In particular, we use the Google Remarketing function.
Google Ads allows us to display targeted advertisements to users who have already interacted with our website. This enables us to tailor our advertising to your user behavior and display interest-based content – both on our website and on other websites within the Google advertising network (e.g., in Google Search or on YouTube).
To achieve this, a so-called (re)marketing tag is embedded into our website when you visit it, which establishes a connection to Google’s servers. By using cookies, information about your use of our website, your browsing behavior, device information (e.g., browser, operating system), and your IP address may be collected and processed in a pseudonymized manner. Direct identification of your person does not occur unless you have given Google additional consent to link this data to your personal profile.
The data collected by Google may be combined with other data sources (e.g., your Google account, if you are logged in and have granted the corresponding consent) and may be stored and processed on Google servers – including those located in the United States.
Further information on how Google uses data for marketing purposes can be found in the following resources:

• Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de
• If you wish to object to interest-based advertising by Google marketing services, you can use Google’s settings and opt-out options: https://adssettings.google.com/anonymous?hl=de
The processing of your data in the context of Google Ads (Remarketing) is based on your explicit consent pursuant to Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 lit. a DSGVO. Any transfer of data to the USA is likewise based on your consent pursuant to Art. 49 Abs. 1 S. 1 lit. a DSGVO.

Data Sharing
Any other disclosure of data takes place exclusively within the scope of legally prescribed cases, for example in the event of a legal obligation to disclose information to law enforcement authorities. In such cases, the data disclosure is justified under Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 lit. c) DSGVO.
Data Retention
Your personal data will be deleted by us without undue delay as soon as it is no longer required for fulfilling contractual or legal obligations or for the protection of our legitimate interests.
In the context of a contractual relationship, personal data is retained for at least as long as it is necessary to fulfill contractual obligations and to assert contractual rights. This period may extend beyond the actual duration of the contract, as the data may remain relevant within statutory limitation periods even after the contract has ended. Furthermore, deletion can only occur once any applicable tax and commercial retention periods have expired.
The criteria for the storage duration of cookies can be found in the corresponding section of this privacy policy.
Rights of Data Subjects
As a data subject affected by the processing of personal data, you have the following rights:
You have the right to request confirmation as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed. If this is the case, you have the right to access the personal data and the information specified in detail in Art. 15 DSGVO.

You have the right to request the immediate erasure of personal data concerning you, provided that one of the reasons outlined in Art. 17 DSGVO applies—for example, if the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected (right to erasure).
You have the right to request the restriction of processing if one of the conditions set out in Art. 18 DSGVO is met—for example, if you have objected to the processing, for the duration of the verification by the controller.
You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. You also have the right to transmit this data to another controller without hindrance from us, provided that the processing is based on your consent or a contract and the processing is carried out by automated means (Art. 20 DSGVO). In exercising your right to data portability, you also have the right to have the personal data transmitted directly from us to another controller, where technically feasible (right to data portability).
You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you based on our legitimate interests. In such a case, we will no longer process the personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims (Art. 21 DSGVO).
You can exercise your rights at any time by contacting us via the contact options provided on our website.
Right to Lodge a Complaint
Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the DSGVO (Art. 77 DSGVO).

If the required data is not provided by you, it may not be possible to use certain functions or services, or to enter into a contract.
