Quantum bit

A quantum bit, or qubit, is the fundamental unit of information in quantum computers, unlike regular computer bits that are either 0 or 1. Thanks to a quantum property called superposition, a qubit can exist as both 0 and 1 simultaneously until it's measured, which gives quantum computers their extraordinary processing power. This strange ability allows quantum computers to explore many possible solutions at once, making them potentially revolutionary for solving complex problems like drug discovery and cryptography.
