The Very Large Array (VLA) is one of the world's most powerful radio telescopes, located in New Mexico and operated by the National Radio Astronomy Observatory. It consists of 27 separate dish antennas, each 25 meters in diameter, arranged in a Y-shaped configuration across an area spanning up to 36 kilometers.
