Wind power

1 article · Interdisciplinary · Wikipedia

Wind power is the process of converting the kinetic energy from moving air into electricity or mechanical energy using turbines with large rotating blades. When wind pushes against these blades, it causes them to spin, which drives a generator that produces electrical current that can be distributed to homes and businesses. This renewable energy source is clean because it produces no greenhouse gas emissions and relies on the natural, continuous movement of air in our atmosphere.
