Text classification

Text classification is a machine learning technique that automatically sorts written documents or passages into predefined categories based on their content and meaning. For example, an email system might use text classification to automatically filter messages into folders like spam, promotions, or important, or a news website might use it to tag articles as sports, politics, or entertainment. This technology works by training computers on examples of labeled texts so they can learn patterns and rules that help them organize new, unlabeled documents quickly and accurately.
